Stanisław Adamczyk - direttore
The boys' choir Pueri Cantores Sancti Nicolai is a group of amateur singers. It was founded in 1987 by Father Stanisław Adamczyk, who is still its conductor.
The ensemble gives concerts to a wide audience. It is respected both in Poland and abroad. The choir's extensive repertoire includes religious music and contemporary light music. Its artistic achievements are manifested in numerous prizes which the choir has received during international and Polish competitions and festivals.
The choir's reputation has also led to invitations to participate in the most important music events in Poland. It has recently performed the St Luke Passion and Credo by Krzysztof Penderecki as well as Joseph Haydn's Missa in tempore belli (Paukenmesse). The choir has released 12 CDs and made recordings for Polish Radio and Television.
It cooperates with Mrs Bożena Wojciechowska - second conductor, Mr Marcin Skoczek - assistant conductor, and Mr Krzysztof Kościółek - accompanist.
